Terms of Service
Effective: November 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the White Arrow website at www.whitearrow.com, the freight estimator at www.whitearrow.com/quote, the estimate API at quote.whitearrow.com, and the White Arrow connector that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT request estimates (together, the "Services"). The Services are provided by White Arrow LLC, White Arrow, Inc. and their affiliated companies (together, "White Arrow", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you use them for a company, you agree on its behalf.
1. Estimates are not quotes
Price ranges and transit days returned by the Services are non-binding estimates for planning only. They are not an offer to carry freight, a contract rate or a guarantee of capacity, price or transit time.
A shipment is priced only by a firm quote that White Arrow sends you, or by a contract you have signed with us. Every shipment is subject to the White Arrow Rules & Regulations (www.whitearrow.com/rules-and-regulations) and the bill of lading.
Estimates depend on the information you give. Actual charges can differ because of weight, dimensions, freight class, accessorial services, fuel, appointment requirements and market conditions.
2. Use through AI assistants
When you reach the Services through an AI assistant, the assistant's provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) sends your request to us and presents our answer to you. Your use of that assistant is governed by its provider's terms and privacy policy, not these Terms. We are not responsible for how an assistant summarizes, alters or presents our responses; rely on the estimate as returned, and on a firm quote before shipping.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
scrape, harvest or systematically collect estimates, or use the Services to build or feed a rate database, price index or competing product;
send automated or bulk requests beyond normal use, or try to avoid, test or defeat rate limits, usage caps or other protections;
resell, redistribute or publish estimates as White Arrow rates;
submit false contact details, or someone else's details without their permission, in a quote request;
interfere with, probe or attack the Services or the systems behind them, or reverse engineer them except where the law allows it.
We may limit, suspend or block any user, network or integration that we believe is breaking these Terms or putting the Services at risk, without notice.
4. Availability and changes
The Services are offered free of charge and may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time. Some requests are answered by email instead of with an online estimate. We do not promise that the Services will be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Your information
How we handle information sent through the estimator, the API and the connector is described in the Freight Estimator and Connector Privacy Notice at www.whitearrow.com/quote/privacy.
6. Ownership
The Services, their content and the White Arrow name and marks belong to White Arrow or its licensors. You may use estimates for your own shipping decisions. No other right or license is granted.
7. Disclaimer
THE SERVICES AND ALL ESTIMATES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WHITE ARROW IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICES OR ANY ESTIMATE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). This section does not apply to the carriage of freight, which is governed by the Rules & Regulations, the bill of lading and applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify White Arrow against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action arising out of these Terms or the Services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
