White Arrow CS (“the extension”) is an internal tool published by White Arrow, Inc. It is used only by White Arrow employees, signed in with a White Arrow Google account, to manage the customer service queue inside Gmail. The extension is not offered to the general public and is not intended for personal use.
What the extension accesses
When a White Arrow employee uses the extension in Gmail, it accesses:
- Their Google account identity. The extension asks Chrome for a token proving which Google user is signed in, covering only the user’s basic profile and email address. It uses this solely to confirm the person is a White Arrow employee authorised to use the tool. The extension does not ask for a password and does not create a separate account.
- Customer service conversations in the shared White Arrow inboxes it is configured for. For each conversation, the extension reads and displays who owns it, its status, any internal notes or tags White Arrow staff have added, and any linked shipment reference.
What the extension stores
White Arrow stores, on systems it controls:
- Which employee owns or has been assigned each customer service conversation, and the history of those assignments.
- Internal status, notes, and tags that White Arrow staff add to a conversation.
- A record of actions taken through the extension, for internal audit.
This information is business record-keeping about White Arrow’s own customer service work. It is retained for as long as White Arrow retains its related business records.
What the extension does not do
- It does not sell or rent any information to anyone.
- It does not use any information for advertising, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- It does not use any information to assess creditworthiness or for lending.
- It does not transfer information to third parties except the service providers that host White Arrow’s own systems, and where the law requires it.
- It does not use the information for any purpose unrelated to running White Arrow’s customer service operation.
- It does not track browsing activity outside Gmail.
Who can see this information
Access is limited to White Arrow employees whose work requires it, and to the staff who administer the system. Access is controlled by White Arrow account membership and recorded.
