What service levels does White Arrow offer?
White Arrow sells three service levels. Guaranteed gives you a guaranteed delivery date and priority access to capacity, at the highest rate. Premium gives fast transit at a lower rate, without the date guarantee. Economy is the lowest rate: the shipper gives flexibility on transit time and White Arrow routes the freight for cost on its own network.
Which White Arrow services come with each level?
LTL consolidation is sold at Guaranteed, Premium and Economy. Required Delivery Date (RDD) service is sold at Guaranteed and Premium. Standard intermodal is sold at Economy. Integrated Logistics is sold as RDD Guaranteed. All of them have a refrigerated option.
How is expedited intermodal different from standard intermodal and over-the-road truckload?
Standard intermodal is the cheapest way to move a full load long distance but is the slowest. Over-the-road truckload is fastest and costs the most. White Arrow positions its intermodal in between: faster than commodity intermodal and more economical than over-the-road, because it runs its own containers, drayage and terminals. Lane-by-lane transit times are published on whitearrow.com/lanes.
